Pink on Pink – Monochrome Style

In the recent months I started following Blair from @Blaireaidieebee and I have to say, as crazy as her style is, I cant help but notice how her monochrome looks are always done to perfection! Here are some below:
She really IS THE QUEEN of monochrome looks, isn’t she?
I was totally inspired by her outfits and wanted to try it out myself and of course I had enough pink in my closet to do exactly that! Here is how I started putting my outfit together; first I grabbed the sequin top and pulled it together with jeans and then went for a pink jacket, purse and headband!
There really is no rule on how to do monochrome as long as you stay within the same shades of a colour or have one item that’s darker than the other ones! Generally when it comes to monochrome looks, beige, grey and white are the easiest to pull off as other colours can definitely be tricky for an everyday look. You can also throw in pattern : e.g. a brown plaid skirt with beige sweater and nude boots and camel coat! How chic would that be!
Its 2020 and I think we should all step outside of our comfort zones a little and why not start by putting a monochrome look together? You don’t need to crazy with the colour but stick with the neutrals for a city-chic look!
Always Remember: It’s not about brand, it’s about style!
