Why I Love 2 Piece Sets So Much!
Let’s talk about summer wardrobe, every season there is a new trend and sometimes it’s hard to keep up. That is exactly the reason why I love a good 2 piece set! Whether you’re going for a classic set, or a trendy one, 2 piece sets can give your wardrobe the fresh touch that it may need.
The 2 piece set trend has been going strong for a couple of years now and it doesn’t seem like it is going to be slowing down anytime soon. So if you don’t have a 2 piece set yet, I highly recommend investing in one!
I love that they give a city-chic vibe and not to mention they can be worn so many different ways! I was so excited when I found this set from Shein. I started styling it in my head before I even got it haha. Although my set is more dressy, you can easily throw on a nude pair of slides and a straw bag for a casual look.
During one of my Fashion Friday segments, I shared different ways you can style this set:
The one shoulder top of this 2 set piece can be worn many different ways. For a casual look throw on jean shorts or even white shorts. For a more elegant look, go for a white midi or maxi skirt.
I absolutely love the back ruching details on the skirt, as it gives a nice bum lift hahah. I also like that the skirt is not too short and can still be pulled off for a classy look. To style this skirt you can throw on a tee (with a side knot) for a casual look, and don’t forget your sneakers! For a dressier option, match it with a cami or a white off the shoulder top. Make sure the top is simple with minimal design as the skirt is your statement piece.
As I mentioned before, this set is more on the dressier side, however you can easily throw on a white pair of sneakers for a casual look, or go all out with statement earrings and heels.
I have linked some of my other 2 piece sets in case the skirt and top are a little too dressy for you:
Regardless of whether you decide to wear it as a set or style the skirt with sneakers or the top with a midi skirt, it will look amazing! Follow me on instagram to see how I style this set different ways!
Always Remember: It’s not about brand, it’s about style!
