Last year I wrote a blog post about how to style pinafore dresses different ways (It’s linked here). I wanted to do an *updated* look for this year! Sometimes I feel like a little girl wearing this dress, but I decided to challenge myself and give it a city chic vibe. If I could re-do some of the looks I would bring in more colour with the dress rather than the continuous black on black. With that said, I do like matching it with a turtleneck; blouse and a tee.

The weather during the fall/winter time makes it extra hard to care about going out or even trying to look put together. I often find myself “letting go” of doing my hair and make-up, followed by throwing on the same sweater and jeans when going out. That’s why when I find an outfit that is going out “worthy”, I stick with it as long as I can! One item that has been a staple in my fall/winter wardrobe has to be knee high boots. I had purchased my dark

I have to say, I love all the 70’s vibes I’m seeing for this season! Give me all the plaid in the world, especially the grandpa kind! Let’s not forget the most iconic moments of my childhood also included plaid : That 70’s Show, Clueless and Britney Spears Hit Me Baby One More Time! Plaid can be worn in so many different ways..skirt, pants, top or even as a statement piece like a vest or boots! I was particularly drawn to these pants because of the pretty little ruffle details

What I love most about fall is being able to continue wearing summer dresses by layering them. My favourite combination has to be dresses and booties! I love how booties elongate your legs while giving you the flirty look with a dress. A dress can easily be layered with a leather jacket (bad ass), jean jacket, or a long cardigan. Throw on a pair of booties and you’re ready for day time or date night! What I also like about wearing dresses is you can still pull the spring/summer colours

This began as a creative project for me to be behind the camera for once. My best friend always wanted to do a shoot at Rattle Snake Point and I finally convinced her to let me some pictures of her. However, as soon as I saw her outfits, my alter ego decided to wake up. I’ve always been into the moody, edgy fashion but since my theme is more bright and pretty, that side of me has been hidden for a while. Little did I know, this day would become

Walking into the lavender farm is such a beautiful sight. Let’s start by talking about the beautiful sea of purple you see right as you walk in, it’s truly breath taking. Maria (the_pinkbrunette) and I decided to go together and take some pictures. The best time to go see the lavenders is usually the last 2 weeks of July. That’s when they bloom the best. We went to the one in Milton called “Terre Bleu”. We were especially excited for the yellow door: “walk through this door, your worries

I don’t know about you, but every time I have an event (bridal shower, networking, engagement party) I am on a full on panic mode… WHAT DO I WEAR! Then I go through my closet and basically hate on everything or  say to myself, “but I already worn that”. I recently had a chance to work with the boss babes at Fresh Rents and came across a whole new world of renting dresses! I never really thought about renting a dress, but after looking through their site and seeing all

Its been  a while since I have written a blog post, but I’mmmmmm back! I recently started Gossip Girl and have become obsessed!! How did I not watch this show during my youth?  I feel like I totally missed the boat on that one! With school coming to an end soon, I’m ready to get into the summer gear and put all my focus on the blog! Let me know if there is anything specific you would like to see on here. Now, let’s get down to June favourites! After going
