I have to say, I love all the 70’s vibes I’m seeing for this season! Give me all the plaid in the world, especially the grandpa kind! Let’s not forget the most iconic moments of my childhood also included plaid : That 70’s Show, Clueless and Britney Spears Hit Me Baby One More Time! Plaid can be worn in so many different ways..skirt, pants, top or even as a statement piece like a vest or boots! I was particularly drawn to these pants because of the pretty little ruffle details
This began as a creative project for me to be behind the camera for once. My best friend always wanted to do a shoot at Rattle Snake Point and I finally convinced her to let me some pictures of her. However, as soon as I saw her outfits, my alter ego decided to wake up. I’ve always been into the moody, edgy fashion but since my theme is more bright and pretty, that side of me has been hidden for a while. Little did I know, this day would become
Andrew’s Scenic Acres has to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Their flower field is so fresh and you have a variety of options to create a beautiful bouquet of your own! I would suggest bringing your own clippers as theirs wasn’t cutting the flowers properly and a vase or water bottle to put the flowers in later! My flowers almost died in the car because I didn’t bring anything to put them in, so that’s definitely my most important advice! As for your outfit, go for
I have to say, I was taken back more by this place than the lavender fields. I always found sunflowers so beautiful and not only for their bright yellow colours, but also because they represent “friendship”. When you’re in a sea of them, it’s hard not to feel their beauty and all that they represent. However, not everyone is able to be respectful of nature and all it has to offer. Boggle Seed farm has been shut down until further notice due to the chaos it has caused by visitors.
Walking into the lavender farm is such a beautiful sight. Let’s start by talking about the beautiful sea of purple you see right as you walk in, it’s truly breath taking. Maria (the_pinkbrunette) and I decided to go together and take some pictures. The best time to go see the lavenders is usually the last 2 weeks of July. That’s when they bloom the best. We went to the one in Milton called “Terre Bleu”. We were especially excited for the yellow door: “walk through this door, your worries
I don’t know about you, but every time I have an event (bridal shower, networking, engagement party) I am on a full on panic mode… WHAT DO I WEAR! Then I go through my closet and basically hate on everything or say to myself, “but I already worn that”. I recently had a chance to work with the boss babes at Fresh Rents and came across a whole new world of renting dresses! I never really thought about renting a dress, but after looking through their site and seeing all
Its been a while since I have written a blog post, but I’mmmmmm back! I recently started Gossip Girl and have become obsessed!! How did I not watch this show during my youth? I feel like I totally missed the boat on that one! With school coming to an end soon, I’m ready to get into the summer gear and put all my focus on the blog! Let me know if there is anything specific you would like to see on here. Now, let’s get down to June favourites! After going
My love for tweed jackets are so real right now that I had to do a proper blog post, instead of a Fashion Friday segment. They are the perfect statement jacket to dress up any outfit(bonus: they even keep you warm! Haha). I love how they look city-chic with a pony tail and jeans, and dressed up with a fitted dress. Either way, I would look into purchasing a tweed jacket as a staple item for years to come. They will continue to be a classic piece since they give
I purchased a pair of American Eagle winter boots during their Black Friday and I have to say I am happier than ever. I love my Sorelles, but like many other people I find them too clunky. These boots are light but still have the rubber part at the bottom to keep my feet dry. However, wearing winter boots is not always stylish and makes me feel like a snowman haha. So I decided to share some tips on how you can make winter
There is something special about fall fashion that I love so much. I especially adore dresses and boots for this time of year. I always find myself gravitating towards florals and deep rich colours. I love wearing my dresses with booties if the weather is warm enough or knee highs with shorter dresses. You can also layer your summer clothes by wearing a cardigan or even a scarf and boots! My dress is a year old, so I linked a couple of dresses that are very similar! Click on the
